1. What Is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files saved to your device through your browser when you visit a website. They are used to make the platform work properly, to remember your preferences and to give you a better experience.
Our site sets two cookies: the record of your answer about analytics measurement, and the language you chose with the language switch. It writes nothing to your browser’s local storage or session storage. If you allow analytics measurement, the application at app.atlastalks.com sets two more analytics cookies. All of them are in the list below.
2. Cookies We Use
There are three categories on our site:
- Essential: required for the basic functions of the site and cannot be disabled. For us this covers only the record of your cookie choice.
- Preference: remembers the language you chose. It is set only when you press the language switch and is used for nothing else.
- Analytics: runs only if you allow it. With Amazon CloudWatch RUM we measure how fast pages load and which pages are viewed. On atlastalks.com this sets no cookies. On app.atlastalks.com it sets two: one joins the pages of a single visit into one session, the other counts returning visitors.
Analytics measurement records: your browser and operating system type and version, device type, browser language, the country and region derived from your IP address, the page viewed, page load times and errors in the browser. Your name, e-mail address, account or organisation are never added to it, and identifiers in page addresses are removed before anything is recorded.
There are no marketing or advertising cookies or tracking of any kind on our site.
Two more things happen without a cookie. If you have no language cookie, your first visit to the home page may be redirected to the Turkish page based on your browser’s language setting. And the payment logos and the links to the sale documents are shown when payment in your visit’s market is taken through iyzico. The market is decided on our server from the country derived from your IP address.

The application at app.atlastalks.com reads your analytics answer too, so you are asked only once.
4. Sharing and Keeping Data
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. To provide the service we work only with the following providers:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): hosting the site and the application, sending e-mail, and analytics measurement (Amazon CloudWatch RUM). Data is processed in AWS’s Frankfurt (Germany) region.
- ElevenLabs: the voice rehearsal conversations in the application.
- iyzico: taking payments. Your card details never reach us.
- Scormy: answers the messages sent through the contact form on our English pages.
Beyond these, your data is shared only with competent public authorities, when the law requires it.
Analytics data is kept at AWS for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Its transfer to AWS’s infrastructure abroad rests on the consent you give in your cookie choice (Article 9 of Law No. 6698, KVKK). Everything about how your personal data is processed is in the KVKK Privacy Notice.
5. Manage Your Cookie Preferences
The essential cookie cannot be disabled because the site needs it to work. You can change your answer about analytics measurement at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the foot of every page; when you withdraw your consent, measurement stops at that moment.
6. Browser Settings
You can clear all cookies from your browser settings; your cookie choice will then be forgotten and you will be asked again. How to manage cookies in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Microsoft Edge is explained on each browser’s own help pages.
